아 팔기 싫다 ㅋ. 대략 한달동안 이것들을 만들기 위해 시도하고 망치고를 수없이 반복했다.

그래도 늘 마지막 작업물을 보면 뿌듯하고 대견하고 그렇다. 나이스.

모든 블럭이 자석으로 되어있어 어떤 형태든 만들수 있다. 상황에 맞는 선물 박스이다. 크리스마스나 생일, 할로윈

등등. 총 15개를 만들고 그중 12개는 pop-up shop 에서 팔아야한다. 아. 프로젝트가 그렇기에 팔긴하겠지만,

싫당. 또만들면 되지! 란게, 참 쉽지 않다. 나중에 픽닷 샵에서 팔아야겠다.

Feedback :

- consider packaging for protection from damage--> use plastic paper.

- make three colour versions --> except the orange colour. (Black & white, Black & red, Black & yellow)
- produce 15 pieces instead of 13 --> to different colour version.
- put extra 2-3 pieces of magnet blocks for people who might be loosing the magnet.

Previous problems and solutions
-push between each pole of magnets --> use steel sheet
-only one side of magnet has strong magnet force properly --> put the sides together using two magnet sheets.
-find proper number of magnet blocks --> at least 5*5 pixel for making symbol of shapes.
-make vrious shape --> 25pixel's not enough so i cut each blocks diagonally. (total 50pieces a box)
--> i made both-side colour
-without frame --> at first test, i made the frame for fixing magnets. but to pick up each block is too hard so i cut every edges are round for picking up.
--> simple is very important in my concept so i decided to take the frame off for keeping the square shape of pixel. i used steel sheets and magnet which are very stong magnet force. so these were stick together stongly.
-variety of colour version --> i used four combination of colours.

Week 3 Tutorial with Max,

Test_03: Magnetic block,

Important thing is that people make keep the box longer or forever. my solution is recycling for changing the symbol interactively. and i want to show graphic view so i chose the pixelated block.

also people can play with the blocks for making symbol. i will give people the symbol manual. but they can make abstract symbol as well.

the blocks could be 4 colours which are black, white, red, and green in both-side for using variously.

Feedback:

-writing is very important for selling product!!

-more test about block shape --> triangle, square, diamond, and etc.

-materials : all magnet? wood? a side of magnet.

-size: bigger than rubix cube size

-consider number of pieces

-frame : use or not? (test)

-make bigger the block and make smaller box size.

비록, 2등 했지만. 그래도 정말 완젼 대박 재밌는 파티였다. 상금도 받고 향수들도 받고. 좋당.

i got the second winner in the Lacoste competition. actually i felt a bit wanting but i really enjoyed designing for the perfume of Lacoste. and the event was so fun!!! My design will be displayed in the Lacoste's shopwindow in summer. it makes me soooo happy.

week 2

Week2: Test_02,

Cylinder,

I did test a different shape of the box. But basic concept is still the 'situational gift box' and recycling.

People can turn over each block for matching the symbol. When the one symbol's matched, other symbol are disappeared. Assembling's funny but i could not satisfy the shape. So I threw it away.
